MetaLaunch hosted an insightful AMA with MetaFighter founder and CEO Serkan Duman last week. The session dived deep into the unique game mechanics, how it adds value to gamers and investors, and what lays ahead for the project.
The questions were divided into three sections, beginning with an introduction about the project and the team. It was followed by five top questions from Twitter. We wrapped up the AMA with the final and most exciting round, where five questions were selected from the live Telegram audience.

Part 1: Project & team introduction
MetaLaunch Admin: As for the AMA rituals, would you like to share your journey in short highlighting impactful choices you made in your career so far in the Crypto space?
Serkan Duman: Would love to. I’ve been in crypto since 2014, but wasn’t actively working in this industry till 2016. I started working as a developer for a host of products.
I also consulted with ICO’s as there were many ICO rating platforms, most of which were unfair and gave poor ratings. Seeing this as a weakness, I decided to make my own ICO rating platform based on smart contracts to give potential investors a good, fair, and unbiased readout.
Then the bear market came and during that time, I worked at a global bank as an advisor and a senior project lead but my heart was in crypto and I’m grateful that I had the opportunity to come back.
So my background in Tech and leadership has helped my time in crypto and now I’m certain I always want to stay here.
MetaLaunch Admin: Damn, what an awe-inspiring journey! Can you shed some light on your team members and also the vision of MetaFighter and what you want to achieve?
Serkan Duman: Yes of course. I would love to share with you guys about the team and how we came about.
In order to do that I would like to take a step back and tell you how the vision of Metafighter came about. As a child I would spend endless hours at the arcade mainly playing Street Fighter. It was something that all of my friends and I would do whenever we had free time. That enjoyment I had back then never left me and I was captivated with blockchain gaming. This was my opportunity to combine my experience of blockchain with my childhood passion. Thus the vision of MetaFighter was born.
So then I needed to assemble a team to make the dream a reality. I sought after the most talented people in the gaming industry and created my own gaming studio. Our lead artist was the artist for League of Legends and our 3D Animator from WoW Our developers are also the best in the industry which was a challenge in itself because talent is difficult to attain right now because of the competitive atmosphere in blockchain gaming.
Our marketing team has worked with very successful blockchain games and has immense experience in how to engage not only investors, but also community and long term involvement & participation
Our vision is we want to be in this space long term and that’s why we collected some of the best minds in this space. We’re all here because we see the potential of crypto and blockchain, games specifically, and if this is truly the beginning then we’re poised in the perfect position. How many times in your life can you say that you were at the right place at the right time?
MetaLaunch Admin: What advantages make MetaFighter the leading and best competitor?
Serkan Duman: This might sound cliché but one of the biggest features that we have is that our team is extremely strong. We have years of experience in blockchain and in the gaming industry.

MetaLaunch Admin: What are the different unique key/Features in an in-game economy?
Serkan Duman: One of The best parts of blockchain gaming is the earning factor. Recently read article that the traditional gaming industry is making “billions” in revenue not just for access to the game but in-game features that you have to buy but don’t own. This is the part that we get to take back from the traditional gaming industry and share those gains with the players.
There’s many different ways one can earn with MetaFigher. You will be able to Earn yield through staking and purchase your own NFT’s. Those NFT’s (especially the rare ones) could raise in value and if so, then the owner has the ability and option to sell that to the next player and it truly becomes an asset. A concept the traditional gaming industry fears. Also, if one wishes not to sell then there’s also the feature of being able to rent out your NFT’s.
As we grow more mature and learn more through our competitors and community feedback we evolve for the better in our in-game economy.
MetaLaunch Admin: “NFTs find unique utility” can you please Elaborate?
Serkan Duman: NFT’s will have their own purpose such as tournaments (where you can host your own tournaments (companies/team building).
DAO- Governance/direction of the game, Guilds, esports, socials and also Content where you can stream your content on youtube and have your own fanbase.
And also Metaverse: Branding (you can become a fighting celebrity and create your own merch) and build a business.
The Rare NFT’s are where it’s going to be interesting!
As land and metaverse expand to grow in popularity, the rare NFT’s is what we will see will be sought after the most.
MetaLaunch Admin: Can you give an in-depth structure of the tokenomics, and why investors should hodl $MF? Serkan Duman
Our token utility is well thought and connected to the game ecosystem. E.g. just by holding your tokens, you will be able to leverage your $EXP collecting in order to level up your NFT fighter which grants you access to more lucrative parts of the game.
Also Staking will be an option to get very rare and exclusive NFT Fighters which aren’t available on the market and just through staking. On the Top you will need your $MF Tokens to hold to be eligible for a Arena NFT ownership where the biggest revenue stream for our players are waiting.
Lastly, our vesting schedule will also slow down the token circulating supply which will also have a long term positive effect on the token price.
We’re really focusing on longevity and sustainability. There’s projects that over promise and under-deliver. That’s not our objective…we want our in-game economy and token to grow with the base of our community.
This means not only NFTs, tokens will also provide value to the investors.
MetaLaunch Admin: Where do you envision MetaFighter in 6 months? Can you please share the road map?

Part 2: Top 5 questions from Twitter
Q1: One of problem NFT games was that users only when they won small rewards immediately withdrew from the game, damaging the liquidity of the project. #MetaFighter takes this reality into consideration and manages economic strategies to support the true lovers of its game?
Because in-game economies are still new and being worked out we’re working with the best minds in gaming to come up with solutions. Our two token model should alleviate a lot of the sell pressure. Plus some of our NFT’s can only be earned through playing so it make it advantageous for the players to level up and get NFT’s vs. dumping on the market.
Q2: Revenue is an important aspect for all projects to survive and maintain the project/company. What is the way to generate profit/revenue from tokens? What is the income model?
This is a great and very important question as an investor.
Investors should know how projects plan to create revenue, because if they don’t spell it out, then there’s a high probability its coming from the tokens.
We will be generating revenue through sales of NFT’s, predominantly the Arena NFT’s. Also there will be small fees that the game collects when battles are won. We are also working on partner and sponsorships for upcoming esport events to get some retail gamer attraction.
We expect advertising to be lucrative for the project

Q3: Gamers/Players are busy playing games and don’t realize the facts about technology/Blockchain World is also there for them to change. So how does Metafighter educate gamers who are not knowledgeable about cryptocurrencies and things related to blockchain technology?
It’s actually extremely impressive how far we’ve come with blockchain and crypto in general. When I first started there were people that had never even heard of Bitcoin. Now to walk down the street and see the acceptance and just pure knowledge of crypto is still mind blowing
But yes, there’s still so much more adoption to come
We haven’t even touched the surface yet. With that said we will have an aspect of the game where no tokens will be needed to play. This will help people that are not native to blockchain get introduced.
We will have videos/tutorials on in-game economy benefits and hopefully they will be enticed to move over to the crypto side. What we want to do is invite over mainstream without it being intimidating. Keep it simple…that’s the idea.
Q4: Earning in the game is important, but with me that having fun while earning is also important. To what extent does your focus on the entertaining aspects of the game? What measures are in place to help make the game suitable for everyone, including non-crypto people?
Couldn’t agree with you more on this question.
The fact that we’re building a game that taps into childhood emotion will be the driving force for a lot of the fun for many people. The game is first…the earning potential is second. So MetaFighter is Play and Earn…and not Play To Earn. Its a big difference in the shift in the objective.
By keeping the game simple and fun this will help ensure that the majority of folks can participate.
There’s lots of games that look cool but you need a degree to get started.
We want to make sure people have fun and keep it simple….but then it can be more challenging as you want your fighters to keep developing skill
Q5: I understand that MetaFighter works on BSC, but do you have plans to expand the boundaries of your game and venture into other ecosystems such as Solana, Polygon, or Ethereum? If it is one of your plans, can you give details about the interoperability you plan to develop?
Right now we’re focusing on BSC and we feel that there’s a lot of benefit in BSC (low transaction cost, fast speed). As the project progresses we will be looking at cross chain benefits, especially if we’re going to be mingling with other metaverses but at this time we’re focusing on delivering the game on BSC.
As we progress/evolve and mature we will have more to share on interoperability.

Q3: Do you have AUDIT certificates?? or are you working to AUDIT your project, to make it more secure and reliable ?
We are currently working towards our certificate. When it is obtained it will be announced so stay tuned!
Q4: Is your Project COMMUNITY only for English speaking an few countries or for users not of other languages??
At this time we are mainly English speaking. As we grow and our community grows then we will look to expand. But the fun part about a fighting game is that you don’t need a specific language to play.
Q5: Did you consider community feedback/requests during the creation of your product in order to expand on fresh ideas for your project? Many projects fail because the target audience and clients are not understood. So I’d like to know who your ideal consumer is for your product?
Yes community involvement is incredibly important to us and thus we do involve and take input from them. Come join and participate in our contests and you can see how much input is actually taken. Plus it’s really fun!
